Lucile  Browne

Actress. Began her carrer as a model before joining a theatrical troupe. Signed by Fox Film Corporation and utilized primarily in comedy, romantic pictures, and Westerns. She appeared in 46 titles including the films “Soup to Nuts” (1930), “The Last of the Mohicans” (1932) with Harry Carey, “Texas Terror” (1935) and “Rainbow Valley” (1935) both featuring John Wayne, and “The Thin Man Goes Home” (1945) with William Powell and Myrna Loy. She met future husband James Flavin on the set of the 1932 Universal serial “The Airmail Mystery”. They remained married for 44 years and had one child, William James Flavin. She died 17 days after her husband died from a ruptured aorta and is buried next to him.
